Noe J. Medina

 

Noe J. Medina has worked in the field of education for more than 30 years. He established Education Policy Research in 1986 as an independent consulting firm to provide research, program development, organizational development, and evaluation services to clients nationwide.

Consulting

Mr. Medina has designed and led projects to develop and assess school turnaround, instructional improvement, staff training, and other innovative education projects focused on the needs of at-risk and under-served children, youth, and families. He has also worked with organizations to build their capacity to effectively implement and sustain such projects. His clients have included school districts, charter schools, higher education institutions, museums, non-profit organizations, and state agencies.

Leadership

In addition to his consulting work, Mr. Medina also served as the Director of Field Services for the Education Alliance at Brown University from 1998 to 2000 and as the Director of Program Development and Assessment for the Cambridge (MA) Public Schools from 1990 to 1995. In both positions, Mr. Medina was responsible for the development and assessment of innovative education projects. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Mr. Medina served as the Director of the Education Division for the Children’s Defense Fund in Washington D.C and as a Legislative Aide to the Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources. Mr. Medina has a JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Texas A & M University.

Wendy K. Schneider has a diverse background in major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, planned giving, state and federal appropriations, grants, sales and marketing, project management and evaluation, working both nationally and internationally. Wendy also has extensive experience in nonprofits, educational technology, economic development, and information technology in large healthcare organizations, cultural organizations, higher education and school districts, and she has worked with American Indian tribes, Alaskan Natives and tribal foundations.

Wendy’s prior experiences include, Director of Institutional Advancement at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming, Senior Director of Philanthropy, Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, Associate Vice Chancellor for the Seattle Colleges, and the National Judicial College, managing partnerships and strategic initiatives.
