Assisted in program design and general organizational development. Identified potential funding sources and developed funding proposals. Designed and managed process to identify elementary and secondary schools nationwide with records of success in supporting the education and affirmative development of male students of color. Evaluated multiple national and local projects and conferences conducted by COSEBOC. Facilitated conversations and focus groups with parents, youth, and community stakeholders on education equity issues.
Research for Better Teaching (since 2011)
Assisted organization in developing plans to guide geographical expansion of service delivery. Evaluated impact of short-term and long-term professional development programs and services offered by RBT to schools and school districts including innovative professional development program for instructional coaches.
Island Readers & Writers (since 2015)
Designed and implemented assessment rubric and scoring system for author visits to rural schools in Downeast Maine. Evaluated multiple projects designed to increase and improve reading and writing among preschool and elementary school students in rural Maine using author visits and other author interactions.
Spokane Tribe of Indians (since 2013)
Assisted several agencies of the Spokane Tribe of Indians (including Tribal College and Tribal Court) to design and development of new programs to better serve tribal members particularly children and youth. Evaluated Federally-funded collaborative project designed to improve education services for tribal youth attending schools in the Wellpinit School District.
